Columbia Basin Dog Training Club - Richland, WA and Surrounding Area


Club members are involved in many other activities and community events, as well as receiving many benefits from club membership.

Here are a few ideas submitted by our members:

  • Being involved with Pet Therapy
  • Obedience, Rally, & Agility run-throughs (practice)
  • Community service through participation in Bark for Life, Americanine Idol, and WSU Summer Science Camp
  • Training resource library (Books & DVDs to share among club members)
  • Free members-only classes/practices
  • Being able to hang out with other dog people
  • Networking with other dog owners for problem solving & learning
  • Seminars & workshops
  • Having input & influencing the variety of classes that are offered each quarter
  • Making human & dog friends
  • Learning about behavioral differences in dog breeds
  • Being able to participate with All American (mixed breed) dogs
  • Providing & receiving camaraderie, support, and encouragement at trials & other dog events
